For years, Dr. Rachel Talis and her caring staff have been providing superior dental care to patients across the Louisville area. From cosmetic services like teeth whitening and veneers to comprehensive restorative procedures including implants, dentures, bridges and crowns, Dr. Talis and the team are doing dental care a little differently.

Dr. Rachel Talis

Dr. Rachel Talis graduated from University of Louisville Dental School in 1996. Throughout her years in private practice, Dr. Talis has received additional advanced training in many areas including implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative options, and botox and facial fillers. Dr. Talis believes in preventative and comprehensive dental care for her patients. She enjoys seeing the transformation in her patients’ smiles and positive impact it has on their lives. Dr. Talis is a member of the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, and American Dental Association.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and attending athletic events.

Dr. T.J. O’Shea

Dr. O’Shea grew up in Roswell, Georgia. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, he graduated from the Dental College of Georgia in 2016. He then went on to complete a general practice residency at the University of Michigan. He has been at Advanced Dental Center since 2018.

In his spare time, Dr. O’Shea enjoys watching his beloved Atlanta Braves and Michigan Wolverines, traveling, and sampling the restaurants around the Louisville area. His wife Casey is an ophthalmology resident at the University of Louisville. They have a dog, Argo, and a cat, Hank, that they both love dearly and enjoy spending time with.

Dr. Anah Switzer

Dr. Anah Switzer was raised in the small town of Cynthiana, Kentucky. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She is an active member of the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, and American Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cuddling up with her two cats and a good book!

Dr. Switzer is excited to be a member of the Advanced Dental Center family! She enjoys getting to know her patients and working together to formulate a unique, comprehensive treatment plan for each and every one.
